Dr. Adam Harcourt is the owner of Imagine X Functional Neurology, a board-certified Functional Neurologist, 4th generation Doctor of Chiropractic, and is certified in Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR).
He was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also completed a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. After exploring several different types of healthcare, he kept coming back to the 'treat the problem not the symptom' outlook. Dr. Harcourt completed his graduate work at Life Chiropractic College West, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He graduated Cum Laude, with honors, and received the highly-coveted Clinical Excellence Award for his graduating class. He then pursued a 3-year post-doctorate degree in Functional Neurology through the Carrick Institute, earning him his Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology (DACNB).
Dr. Harcourt is also a Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, where he travels both domestically and internationally instructing future Functional Neurologists. He has 2 current papers from 2016 that he presented at the International Symposium of Clinical Neurology (ISCN) to be published in Frontiers of Neuroscience on his treatment of Concussion and Migraine. He presented his research on Multiple Sclerosis at the ACCRAC in 2014. Dr. Harcourt is also on the Board of Directors at Jodi House Brain Injury Support Center in Santa Barbara, CA.
Dr. Harcourt uses the latest research and techniques to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives. He takes the "whole person" approach to your health, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the brain, and he will be able to determine the root of the imbalance and create a personalized care plan to suit your individual needs.
Dr. Harcourt and his wife are both dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting local charities and non-profits.
