Dr. Stephanie Barbakoff (DC, DACNB)
Dr. Stephanie Barbakoff is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic and a Diplomate of Functional Neurology (DACNB). Originally from New York, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, graduating cum laude, from State University of New York.
With a strong interest in health science, she began exploring different avenues to work with patients in a healthcare setting. She worked in offices of osteopathy, obstetrics, and chiropractic before deciding on holistic health care. She attended Life Chiropractic College West where she earned a Doctorate, graduating magna cum laude with honors. She completed her post-doctorate training through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies.
In addition to academic study, Dr. Barbakoff prides herself on her work in the community with several women’s groups. Her passion is speaking on equality, women’s rights, and discussing natural birth options for expecting mothers. Women are the primary demographic who suffer from chronic migraines. Dr. Barbakoff enjoys helping patients find relief from their debilitating condition through drug-free options.
Dr. Barbakoff strives to help patients achieve normal function and optimal performance. Through functional neurological applications, she is able to help patients suffering with a wide variety of disorders including concussion, dizziness/vertigo, and chronic pain.
